The NV Monochrome #7 skips out of the glass with energetic notes of lime blossoms, lemon tart, and grapefruit, followed by hints of honey toast and shaved almonds. The palate is tightly wound and crisp with a great intensity of citrus and biscuity flavors and a satisfyingly dry, chalky finish. This is so wonderfully elegant! 9000 bottles were made.

This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne is produced in Mesnil sur Oger, in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, the preferred land of the Chardonnay grape variety. Its very low dosage makes it a champagne “Extra Brut”.  This approach allows the wine to express more freely the finesse of its aromas as well as the identity of the terroir.

The MONOCHROME vintage fully expresses the chalky and mineral terroir. The finesse of the bubbles highlights the salinity of the wine and the slightly buttery aromas of the Chardonnay.
